I visited 5 very different locations and it included a guided activity every day. There was still ample time for R & R, self-guided tours, hiking, swimming, enjoying a beach, snorkeling, kayaking, or in my case, bird watching with a combination of all of the above. My favorite guided tours were Sailing in Manuel Antonio combined with snorkeling, River kayaking from Luna Lodge and hiking in Corcovado. The food was always very good and sometimes exceptional, prepared with many items grown in some of the hotel’s private gardens.
